Sell your car in West Bengal
Put it in front of people already looking for one. Buyers ring you, and nobody stands in between taking a cut. Free while we build up stock across the state.
I am selling my own car
Your car, your price, your phone number. You list it once; a buyer who is interested leaves their name and mobile to get yours, and the two of you talk directly.
- We do not buy the car off you, and we do not send anybody to value it
- Your registration number is blurred out of every photograph before it goes up
- No trade licence, no years in business, no paperwork about your business — you have not got one
I sell cars for a living
Your whole stock on one page, with a link and a printable QR code you can put on WhatsApp, a banner or the showroom wall. Enquiries and test drive bookings land in a dashboard you can work from on your phone.
- Every enquiry arrives with a name and a mobile number, so you can call straight back
- You can see how many people opened each car, and how many of them asked
- No commission on the sale — what you sell it for is yours
Start with the make
Pick it here and the listing form opens with it already chosen. You will be asked for a name, a mobile number and a password on the way — four fields, about a minute.

How it works
A car can be live in about ten minutes, most of it spent taking photographs.
Make an account
Your name, mobile number, city and a password. The mobile number is how we know you, not the email — plenty of people here run on WhatsApp and have no email address they use.
Add the car
Make, model, year, kilometres, price, and where the car actually is. Then the photographs, which matter more than everything else put together: a listing with none is a listing nobody opens.
It goes live as you save it
No approval queue and no waiting. It appears in searches for its make, its budget band and its town straight away, and it gets its own page with its own address you can share.
Answer the enquiries
A buyer leaves their name and mobile to see yours, and you get both. Call them. When the car goes, mark it sold — it keeps its page with a Sold sticker rather than vanishing, or you can remove it outright.
What makes a car sell faster
Four things separate a listing that gets calls in the first week from one that sits for a month. None of them costs anything.
Price it against your own town
Look at what cars like yours are actually listed at in your town before you decide, not at what you paid or what the same model fetches in Kolkata. An optimistic price is the commonest reason a good car sits.
Real photographs, in daylight
Your own car, not a brochure picture, and taken outside in the morning or late afternoon. Eight to ten of them, including the odometer and anything dented. Buyers scroll past listings with one dark photograph.
Fill the whole form in
Variant, owners, insurance, RTO, service history. Every blank field is a question a buyer has to ring and ask, and most of them will not bother. A complete listing also matches more searches.
Write it like you would tell a friend
What you used it for, what you have replaced recently, what still needs doing. Saying the honest thing about a scratch sells faster than hiding it and losing the buyer at the gate.
One car, or a yard full
Both start on this page and both are free right now. What differs is how much we ask you for and what you get back.
| Selling your own car | Dealer or showroom | |
|---|---|---|

| Who the buyer talks to | You, directly | You, directly |
| Your own page | Yes, with your car on it | Yes, with all your stock, a QR code and your opening hours |
| Test drive bookings | Buyers ask you and you arrange it | Buyers pick a slot from your opening hours |
| How you are shown to buyers | Marked as a private seller, so nobody is misled | Marked as a dealer, with your reviews |
What to have to hand
None of this is uploaded to us. It is what a serious buyer will ask to see, and having it ready is the difference between a sale and a week of messages.
The registration certificate
The RC, and ideally in your own name. If it is still in a previous owner’s name, say so in the listing rather than at the gate — a buyer who finds out late walks away.
Insurance and its expiry
Comprehensive or third-party, and the date it runs out. The listing has a field for both, and filling them in stops the same question arriving fifteen times.
A valid PUC
Pollution under control certificate with its expiry. Cheap to renew and it removes an excuse to haggle.
The honest kilometre reading
Off the odometer, not off memory. A reading that does not match the service book is the single fastest way to lose a buyer who was ready to pay.
Service history, if you have it
Stamped book or garage bills. On a car above five years old this is worth more than a wash and a polish.
Eight to ten photographs, in daylight
All four corners, both interiors, the odometer, the engine bay, and anything dented — photographed rather than hidden. Morning or late afternoon light, not a dark shed.
If the car still has a loan on it, the bank holds the papers and the buyer needs a no-objection certificate before the transfer. You can still list it; say so in the description so it does not come as a surprise.
Your number plate does not go on the internet
Every photograph you upload is checked for a registration plate, and any plate found is blurred out before the picture is ever served to anybody. The blur is burnt into the file, not laid over it, so there is no original underneath to recover.
It is not perfect, so you can see what we found and correct it yourself: drag a box over anything we missed, or take one off something that was never a plate. Every size of the photograph is rewritten from your correction.
This is not decoration. A registration number is enough to look up an owner, and a used-vehicle listing is a public page a stranger can read for as long as it is up. We also stamp the photographs with the site name so they cannot be quietly lifted and reposted as somebody else’s stock.
What it costs
Nothing, at the moment, for either kind of seller. No card, no contract, no commission when the car sells. We would rather have real cars on the site than charge for an empty one.
That will not be true forever, and when it changes we will say so well in advance rather than quietly start billing. Dealer plans are published, so you can see now what they will look like.
